Needle felted Mermaid - birdfish I am glad to present a wonderful bird in a fish style or a mermaid with a bird head! Did you ever know, that mermaids in Slavic tradition was flying beings? Old tales says about mermaids living on the trees by the rivers confusing passing by sailors and merchants trough their voices and beauty. Or maybe it wasn't an old tale and just romantic authors from XIX century invented it :) But the part I liked most in that story is a mixed character of that mermaids....
